Details and evidence of your employment, education and qualifications are all required as well as a deposit before your application can be processed. Information on how to complete the form is provided in the APPLICATION GUIDE along with the form required to be completed by your chosen references. Please ensure you have downloaded a copy of this document from the red 'download latest information' box on the home page before starting.

Applications missing any of the below will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.

IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Every student, regardless of location, is required to submit one passport photograph and a copy of their passport for admissions purposes. You can submit either scanned or digital versions electronically. Please ensure your name is saved as the file name. These documents are required to continue with your application and so if you have difficulty uploading please email them directly to mbaadmin@informa.com.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION




An application deposit of £500 (VAT exempt) is payable at the time of applying and applications submitted without this will not be processed. The deposit will be deducted from the total programme fee once approved and is refundable where applicants are unsuccessful. Please ensure you select 'By Credit Card' when you get to the payment method question in step two, for this payment to be taken. We will securely encrypt and store your credit card details and no charge other than the deposit will be taken.

Upon approval onto the course an invoice for further programme payment by cheque or bank transfer will be provided to the billing details as provided below.

If you wish to pay the deposit by cheque, please post it to MBA Programme Administrator, Lloyd’s Maritime Academy, 4th Floor, Maple House, 149 Tottenham Court Road. London. W1T 7AD. Applications will not be processed until all supporting documentation including the deposit have been received.

Participants will be billed in either GBP or USD depending on the price option selected. The GBP invoice will include a EUR price calculated using the exchange rate in force on invoicing.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

LANGUAGE
Fluency in English is a requirement for entry to the programme. If English is not your mother tongue, you must take the IELTS or TOEFL test. The scores required are listed in the APPLICATION GUIDE. If you have any doubts about whether you should take the tests, you should consult the APPLICATION GUIDE for further information.

EMPLOYMENT AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Please describe your current or most recent full-time post-graduation position you have held. Full information of your duties, responsibilities and position in the organisation helps us to understand the depth of your experience and the contribution you can make to the MBA Programme. If you believe your current role does not fully support your application please complete the additional Job 2 question as well.

REFEREES

Please upload the completed reference forms in one zip file. If you have any difficulties uploading, please send copies by email to mbaadmin@informa.com.

If you did not attend university, or if you did so over 5 years ago and you find it difficult now to identify an academic referee, you should seek a reference from someone else that can vouch for your learning ability, e.g. a supervisor. You must produce at least one work reference. The MBA selection system requires you to send your referees the Reference Forms as found in the APPLICATION GUIDE. If they reply by email you can upload the forms, otherwise, they can email their reference to us directly at mbaadmin@informa.com. If your referees wish to post their reference they must sign across the seal of the envelope. Please remember that it is your responsibility to obtain references and if necessary to remind your referees. Even if accepted onto the course, without these you will not be enrolled onto the programme.
