About your tutorial leader: Les has worked in the telecommunications industry for nearly 40 years, initially with BT and as an International Business development manager with Telcordia Technologies and Context Connect Inc. and, for the past 5 years, as a consultant with InterConnect Communications. He has carried out project work, and lead projects, in the UK, USA, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, advising on Numbering and Number Portability. His experience includes working with National Regulatory Authorities, national and inter-national cross-industry groups and incumbent and new entrant operators mainly dealing with National Numbering Plans & Number Portability. Les is the Chair person of the NP Commercial Group in the UK and is currently working in the Middle East & East Africa.

About your tutorial leader: Raymond Bouwman is founder and managing director of Rabión Consultancy, based in Gouda in the Netherlands. Rabión Consultancy is a telecommunications consultancy, founded in 2000, with expert knowledge and experience in areas such as International Roaming, Interconnection, Mobile Virtual Network Operators, M2M and Number Portability. Raymond is an expert in Number Portability, having worked on NP since 1997, and has been involved in the introduction of NP in the Netherlands with mobile operators Orange and T-Mobile, cable operators and MVNOs. He was also involved in setting up the inter-operator procedures and central NP organisation. He has also been involved in NP implementation studies for customers and prospects in the Caribbean region. Raymond has been providing NP workshops to several regulators and operators around the world including Brazil and is currently working on the management of the Number Portability implementation for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
