Diploma in Small Craft Surveying - a qualification delivered by distance learning

Programme Overview - Diploma in Small Craft Surveying

The qualification aimed specifically at surveyors of small commercial and leisure vessels

This Diploma in Small Craft Surveying qualification focuses on vessels of less than 350 tonnes and up to 24 metres in length and is designed to support the valuable and important work that marine surveyors around the world carry out.

This small craft surveying training course covers;
> Topics of specific concern to this part of the industry,
> Practicalities of surveying smaller vessels,
> Commercial knowledge for those running or wishing to run their own surveying business.

This professional development diploma also aims to recruit future surveyors into the industry. Not just from the dwindling number of seafaring professionals but also from non-seafarers that have the academic ability and interest in learning about the surveying of small craft.

We understand the maritime world is truly international and in order to give students every opportunity to study, the chosen delivery method for the course is by distance learning as this eliminates geographical boundaries and barriers.
