What was new in the ICNC2011 conference programme?

ICNC allows nuclear criticality safety specialists from around the globe to come together to discuss, analyse and study the latest developments in this rapidly evolving area.

Programme highlights

A special workshop on DICE, the Database for the International Handbook of Evaluated Criticality Safety Benchmark Experiments, a relational database with a user-friendly graphical interface to query the International Criticality Safety Benchmark Evaluation Project (ICSBEP) Handbook. Led by speakers from INL (USA), DOE/NNSA (USA), IRSN (France), ANL (USA).

A demonstration of the RIB tool (Representativity, Uncertainty, Bias), software developed by CEA for criticality bias and bias uncertainty estimation which has been used for the UACSA phase I benchmark. The workshop will include industrial case studies and a demonstration of the database and representativity calculation method.

Conference registration entitles you to:

  • a 4-day technical programme on criticality issues over the whole fuel cycle
