The 12th Global Liner Shipping Conference

Preparing for the Recovery

Successfully running for the 12th consecutive year, the Global Liner Shipping conference has become the key calendar event of the liner industry. This years' conference aims to provide answers to key questions on the main issues affecting the industry, including the impact of supply and demand on global freight rate expectations up to 2011. The event will also include case studies on current shipping practices and the changing carrier-shipper relationship, environmental considerations, review of post conference markets and looking at tax planning for liner companies going forward.

FEATURING: POST CONFERENCE SEMINAR ON 14TH APRIL 2010:
Emissions control: How will this impact the industry?
This seminar will look at the current debate on super slow steaming, analysing its impact on the supply chain management and port of calls. It will also look at the technological innovation in emissions reduction.

A must–attend annual event providing answers to your key questions:
- What impact will the changing supply demand balance have on freight rate expectations up to 2011?

- Can the German KG system survive and what changes are necessary?
- How has forwarder-carrier relations changed since the crisis began?
