Fundamentals of FPSOs 2010

Fundamentals of FPSOs Programme Overview

The design and operation of floating production, storage and offloading systems

This distance learning FPSO course provides a comprehensive examination of all aspects of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading systems, totally delivered by distance learning. It explores the key components of floating production technology and deployment, including FPSO design, systems development, subsea engineering, operations and economics for the development and management of these increasingly important production systems in offshore oil and gas.

The course is designed for people wanting a complete overview of FPSOs, and provides opportunities for participants to direct more detailed learning in areas which interest them particularly. This allows technical professionals to learn more about commercial and contractual aspects of FPSO vessels, while non-technical personnel can gain a deeper understanding of the technical challenges associated with FPSO projects. Expert industry support is offered via an online forum for questions, discussions and to encourage interaction amongst the global student community.
