The course will provide project team members with a rational approach to the identification and resolution of key FPSO configuration and design decisions – and help the team members understand the information needed to make sound decisions. 

The programme comprises of a series of lectures supported by interactive workshop sessions, which will allow time for discussion of the lecture material and design studies.   It will help to illustrate a rational design process methodology for the design of an FPSO project and possible solutions to the key design configuration questions.   Sessions will also use a number of case studies and design examples to illustrate selection inputs, drivers and options.  Delegates will also have time to work together in break-out groups and consider some of the key decision issues in more detail.
