Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad and Tobago is one of the world’s largest producers of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). We are a four-train natural gas liquefaction facility located at Point Fortin in Trinidad. Each train is owned by a group of private investors in its own holding company. Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad and Tobago operates and manages the four trains on behalf of the train holding companies.
Combined, the four trains that we operate and manage are capable of producing up to 100,000 cubic metres of LNG per day. This is enough energy to power the entire US for 1.4 months. From our first ship load on May 1, 1999 through to the end of 2009, we have loaded natural gas into 1,813 ships, our 2,000th shipment is carded for September 2010. We receive natural gas from offshore fields north and east of Trinidad owned and operated by our shareholders.

The Caribbean Energy Information System (CEIS), is the energy information arm of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) set up to provide a regional information service through a network of Caribbean countries in support of planning and decision-making.
Headquartered at the Scientific Research Council in Kingston, Jamaica, CEIS currently has a membership of eighteen (18) Caribbean Countries. Our services in areas of contract energy research, information requests and products such as the PETSTATS series which provides over twenty (20) years of high quality, integrated, comprehensive time series data among the countries which the CEIS serves as well as to allow them to compare the energy activities as well as identify long term energy trends.
CEIS also developed and manages the Caribbean Information Platform on Renewable Energy (CIPORE)- www.cipore.org - an output of Caribbean Renewable Energy Development Programme (CREDP) that was funded by UNDP-GEF and coordinated by the CARICOM Secretariat.
