The Bunker Management School - essential training in bunker operations, effective finances and legal frameworks

In 2011, our popular Bunker School offered bunker and shipping professionals a unique opportunity to sharpen their skills as well as develop your knowledge.

The bunker seminar is divided into three essential parts:

• Operational  and Technical - ensure you understand the whole bunker management process

• Law - regulation, contracts and reducing claims!

Braemar Falconer provides technical, survey and consultancy services for the marine and energy sector. Operating from offices in Singapore, London, South East Asia, Australia, and the Americas, they offer a comprehensive and wide-ranging service to P&I Clubs, insurers, lawyers, ship owners and operators, oil companies, underwriters and brokers.

Allan Ashby has a Masters Degree in Marine Cargo Damage Investigation from Middlesex University, a Diploma in Marine Surveying, and a Higher National Diploma in Nautical Studies. He also holds a Certificate of Competency Class 2 as First Mate (FG), and served at sea for 8 years up to the rank of Chief Officer before coming ashore as a Marine Surveyor in 1984. He lived for many years in the Middle East and South Africa before returning to the UK in 2000, working in the maritime sector as a Surveyor and Consultant to P&I Clubs, lawyers, ship owners, charterers and underwriters. He is now a Senior Marine Surveyor with Braemar Falconer in London.
